Wii emulator actually works!
I’ve been an emulator buff for a while, but generally emulators seem to only work well after the console has been off the market for several years.
Well, I found a Wii emulator that not only works, but works rather well. The games I tried on it work very well with little sound or graphical defects (I’m still testing it though). There are lots of configuration options, but the default settings seem to be fine on my test machine (Intel e6600 with ATI 4870 video card).

The emulator I speak of is Dolphin and you can visit their website here.
This emulator will help OCModShop by allowing us to preview games, take custom screenshots, and even video. Usually to do this we’ve had to use “developer” versions of the consoles.

Maybe I spoke a bit too soon. Some games do not work at all, and getting Wiimotes working can be a pain. Emulation of the "classic controller" has problems. Some games do not work at all, and some are rendered horribly… like Resident Evil.
Classic Gamecube games seem to have greater compatibility… Super Mario Sunshine seems to work rather well, although the audio drops out now and then.
