Gaming mice can be expensive, though, and it really sucks to purchase an expensive mouse just to find out it wasn’t as good as you thought. The Avatar S mouse has been out for a while, but still holds strong because it is one of the cheapest gaming-grade mice you can find.

Most Read Articles of the Past Decade
While we get a lot of traffic from articles about heatsinks, cases, motherboards and other PC hardware, there are just some articles that just shoot past all of the others and really stand out. Listed here are the most popular OCModShop articles from the past decade.
NZXT 140mm & 120mm FX Enthusiast Fan Review
Yup, this isn’t a press release or a tease… this is the only review on the new NZXT FX Enthusiast Fan series that I know of on the Internets at the time of this writing. If you’re familiar with the NZXT brand, then you’re probably a loyal customer and not only have a few of [...]
Cooler Master Elite 310 Case Review
I’ll say it like it is, The Cooler Master Elite 310 is not the case you’re going to be selecting for your next powerful gaming rig. However, it still a solid case that would be suitable for a budget build or if you’re going for something less flashy. The one we received was the model [...]
OCZ Sabre OLED Gaming Keyboard Review
When you see something new and innovative like an OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) keyboard, one can’t help but compare it to the expensive Optimus Maximus keyboard. The one feature that such a keyboard desprately needs is a drool-guard, as every technophile would hover over its beauty. Unfortunately most of us don’t have over $1000 [...]
ButtKicker Promises to Shake your Money Maker
PC games are becoming more advanced these days, implementing better visuals and audio for a complete entertainment experience. Games are starting to make their way into the living room and the family home theater, as many PC games and consoles feature Dolby Digital and other sound positioning technologies. Many games and DVD movies feature Low [...]
Linux Firewall Part 5: The GUI Interface
Now that you have IPcop installed, you need to configure it. IPcop provies you with a web interface in which you can configure nearly all of the settings of your new firewall. To connect, just open up any web browser, and connect to the IP address you set up when you installed the software. The [...]
Intel and AMD: What Went Wrong
Ever have that feeling that someone with a Heavyweight title just put you in a coma? And when you awoke from that coma everything you thought you knew was no longer a reality? That was the same way I felt when I realized how bad Intel was kicking the crap out of AMD’s booty all [...]
Razer DeathAdder 1800dpi Mouse for Mac Review
Apple users are the most hardened group of gamers on the planet. There are so many games available for the Mac platform that you just can’t count them all. They have such hits as World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, Black and White 2… um…. well, they have a bunch of solitaire and board games, that’s [...]
Coolink GFXChilla VGA Heatsink Review
I’m always looking for the right balance between proper cooling and noise output. Remember the old cases and cpu coolers you used to get that where so loud it was plain stupid, luckily things have gone a long way and we have abandoned 40/60mm screamer fans (remember the old Deltas? ) but today still I have [...]
Teknmotion PulseWave Headphones
PC Gamers need to hear in order to play effectively. What good is your genetically-enhanced super-soldier if he doesn’t know to shoot through the wall to take out the hidden zombie horde? If he (or she) walks through that door unprepared, then his (or her) brains are Kibble Chow. Seriously, PC gamers expect a lot [...]
Lamptron Case Handles Review
My personal opinion on casemodding is not so much that is has died, more that it has slowed down. This could be that the older kinds of modders (me included) didn’t have all the luxurious items that are available today. We used to make our own LED-fans and CCFLs. We bought those things at specialty electronics stores; back in [...]
Plantronics Shows off Gaming Headsets
There were several headset manufacturers at PAX 08, many with elaborate booths in the middle of the show floor. Plantronics seemed to have gotten shafted a little bit, as they were shoved right up against the wall at the show floor. They may not have had a flashier booth, but they did have several models [...]
