Sharka Corp Laser Cut Fan Grill Review

Introduction

With case modding becoming more and more popular day by day more and more products are coming that people can use to make their computer look more unique. Normally whenever you add a blowhole to your computer you put on the generic stainless steel fan grill which everyone has, but those are boring.

If you want something special and cool looking you need something custom. these fan grills are made of plexiglass and come in many colors and designs these are only a few which Sharka Corporation carries. They sent over 2 80mm and a 92mm grill. They have many different colors and sizes which I mentioned so that you can match the grills to your case and make it look rockin’.

The fan grills are made of plexiglass which I mentioned before, they come with the brown protective paper that all plexiglass comes with so they do not get all scratched up. You can see around the edges of the cuts that the paper is kind of brown, this is from the heat of the laser burning the paper, pretty cool if you ask me.

I then removed the protective paper to get a good look at what they really look like. The 80mm biohazard grill is blue looks pretty cool, the 92mm flame one is black and pretty cool looking but the 80mm flame one is a mirror which is really cool and I like this one the most.

Here is a close-up of each individual fan grill, as you can see they are all really cool but my favorite is the mirrored one in the middle. Also these are not the only colors available, so don’t forget to head over to Sharka Corporation and check out the full selection.

I then went ahead and installed the 2 80mm grills to the only case I have with a blowhole. Sorry I couldn’t use the 92mm grill, I don’t have a 92mm blowhole on any of my cases. As you can see they look really cool on this black case, two problems that are obvious is the fact that they will cut down on air flow and they wont really protect your fingers so be careful.

Conclusion

I went ahead and did a little testing with the fan grills to see if there was any change in the CPU temperature and there was not so I did not bother to make a graph showing the difference. These fan grills are really cool looking and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for an easy way to spice up the way your computer looks. If you have small children or animals that might be around the computer you might want to stick with the normal style of fan grills to prevent possible injury.

Overall I am going to give these fan grills and 9/10 and award them the OCmodshop Seal of Approval. I would like to thank Robert from Sharka Corporation for sending this over to review, head on over and pick some up.
