One other thing I forgot to mention about…
Yesterday, it was officially determined that the Seattle SuperSonics are moving to Oklahoma City. Let me make things very clear: the players are moving. Seattle gets to keep the name of the team, not to mention we are doing renovations on the Key Arena next year.
So bye bye to the players of the Sonics, and their stupid owner even has to buy out the Key Arena lease for 75 million dollars. WTF!? Seriously… what is so much greater about Oklahoma City that the Sonics couldn’t have stayed here for one more year. It’s not like the Sonics are a winning team anyway.
I don’t care if the restaurants at the Seattle Center suffer on would-be game nights. Now the Arena is free for more concerts and events, and we are free to create a new and better team. Good Riddance.
