Is it worth it?

If you've got the "fii"ver to customize your Wii, then Evercool's Fii cooler is a "fii"sible solution. The Fii is also an excellent solution to quiet your Wii, if the original fan has died or becomes noisy.

The Wii is already rather "cutesy", so the ability to customize your console with a cute little trinket will probably appeal to this crowd. The bottom line is that adding the Fii can't hurt, and there really are no disadvantages to using it. It is also rather inexpensive, so adding another accessory for your Wii isn't a problem.

category rating comments
Quality5The product is well designed to fit perfectly with the Wii and fits snugly in place.
Innovation5USB passthrough, a quality fan, and even a little hook to hang customizable trinkets.
Performance4The Wii really doesn't get that hot, but the Fii does cool by a few degrees.
Installation5Fii is held in place by two USB plugs, and is very easy to remove and reinstall.
Value4Available for a nominal "fii", it's cheap enough that you can justify a purchase just for the novelty of it.
FINAL VERDICT: 5 out of 5 stars
