Some overclockers brought their own motherboard stands like Jody '3oh6' Bailey from Canada pictured above. 3oh6 is 29 years only and the only overclocker here from Canada. He got here by being ranked 1st in Canada on hwbot.org in not one, but five hardware configurations...."

Supermicro SuperServer 5035L-IB Review Virutal Hideout :: Monday, April 27, 2009
““Server” and “Desktop” are words that are used all the time, a lot of times I think that not everyone really understands what they really mean. In fact there is no standard that makes every server different from every desktop. There is nothing stopping the average user from using Supermicro’s SuperServer 5035L-IB as an everyday “Desktop” computer. It can do all the web surfing, email, word documents and spread sheets you could throw at it. When looking at the 5035 as a server, at least for a small/home business system, it makes even more sense. Dual networking makes using it as a router/firewall a breeze. Also having a web server connected to a database with no other online access is a very common security “Best practice”. Most small businesses and home offices will also not have a dedicated sever room, so noise levels end up being a much bigger deal, in this aspect it really excels.”
Zotac GeForce 9300-ITX Wifi IT Reviewed :: Monday, April 27, 2009
“Aside from being a high-performance Mini-ITX platform, Zotac’s GeForce 9300-ITX WiFi is also a neat platform for home theatre PCs. Pairing the motherboard with a low-power 45nm Intel processor would make a low-power and cool-running media centre with wireless network connectivity. You’re going to have to get over the hurdle of picking a compatible enclosure and power supply, and you should remember that the GeForce 9300 chipset isn’t as powerful as the 9400 used in nVidia’s Ion system. You should also bear in mind that there’s only support for two internal drives, and memory support doesn’t include the latest cutting-edge DDR3. And if you intend to use a proper graphics card you’ll need a larger case, so you might as well plump for a Micro-ATX motherboard. Finally, I should point out that the LGA775 socket doesn’t have much of an upgrade path looking forward. But then there isn’t one for soldered-on Atom CPUs, either. At least with LGA775 there is a wide range of models to suit just about every need and budget. Sure you can get an Atom-based Mini-ITX board for half the price, but Zotac’s offering is in its own class if you want to build either a diminutive home theatre PC that can play back Blu-ray movies smoothly over HDMI or, with the addition of a discrete graphics card, a potent gaming rig that’s easy to carry to LAN parties. In fact, it is the best Mini-ITX board I’ve ever tested.”

Microsoft SideWinder X6 Gamer Keyboard Dragonsteel Mods :: Thursday, April 23, 2009
After reviewing the SideWinder X8
gaming mouse I was offered the chance to check out its gaming
keyboard brethren: the SideWinder X6. Microsoft is slowly building a
reputation for quality PC gaming peripherals and the SideWinder X6 is
another step in that direction. Although the gaming keyboard market
is already very crowded having another quality keyboard choice can
never hurt.
The new SideWinder X6 is designed for
the gamer in mind yet is also an excellent everyday use keyboard. As
gamers look for any edge possible the SideWinder X6 delivers features

Ulti-mat Seven F-X2 Mousepad Dragonsteel Mods :: Thursday, April 23, 2009
Most people don't think of mousepads
when they're upgrading their computers, or even using them really, I
know many people that just use their desktop and no pad at all.
Personally I've come to realize that there is such a thing as a good
mousepad, and there are differences between them, surfaces, sizes,
and brands. A good mousepad can make a big difference between a good
computing experience and a not so good one. You can get pads in many
sizes, shapes, colors and materials, which you'll choose depends on
your own personal preferences.
Today for review I've got the Ulti-mat
Seven F-X2 for review, it's a smaller mousepad, made for those with
limited space on their desktops. Just because you don't have much
room on your desktop though doesn't mean you shouldn't have the
luxury of using a high quality mousepad. The Seven F-X2 is an
excellent choice for a mousepad, it's well made and very slick, my
mouse just glides across it effortlessly.
Ulti-mat is company that honestly I
hadn't really heard of until they contacted me about reviewing their
products, and I'm happy they did, they're sent me three pads to test
out, and so far the two I've tried are excellent, in both quality and
usefulness.
