Let's take a closer look at this unique new product from Logitech.”

That's usually a pretty good indicator that something has gone wrong. Officially, we don't know why the outage occurred. All we know right now is that Major Nelson is sniffing around for answers. Of course, we wouldn't be fanboys if we didn't concoct a theory of our own. 360 Fanboy reader, Eric, noticed that the Shadowrun beta officially began last night. A post on the Shadowrun community forums presents and interesting twist on the outage theories:

Barry's Rigs 'n' Reviews :: Thursday, December 28, 2006
"In 2005, F.E.A.R. raised the bar for first-person shooters with dazzling special effects, intense combat with fiendishly clever and intelligent enemies; a top-secret government experiment gone horribly wrong—and the supernatural. In F.E.A.R. Extraction Point, you reprise your role as the elite operative of First Encounter Assault Recon, who was sent in to deal with the threat, and now find yourself the hunted instead of the hunter."

Left Behind: Eternal Forces PC Game Review
Dragonsteel Mods :: Thursday, December 28, 2006
" The Left Behind series is huge, selling millions of copies worldwide, I myself have read a couple of the series as well, and they are very good. I was very much looking forward to a game based on the series of books with high hopes for something great. In all honesty though the game is pretty good but lacks something that makes it a great game. Overall, Left Behind: Eternal forces is an interesting game and true die hard fans of the book series will love it, but regular gamers might not. Left Behind: Eternal Forces deals with things that are a bit controversial, which doesn't bother me at all, in fact I like controversy, but there are people out there who hate this game and those people have never even seen or played it. It's worth playing, it really is, if you are a fan of RTS type games then you might just love this game, there are many aspects to it that can be appreciated, so continue on to learn more about Eternal Forces the Game... Oh and I have seven keys to give away so you can play Eternal Forces online for free! "

Tomb Raider: Anniversary Fact Sheet
Wednesday, December 27, 2006
In 1996, the original Tomb Raider was launched. The 3D game design, controls and graphics were truly ground breaking for their time. Furthermore, gamers were also presented with a unique, female human playable character with whom they could become emotionally attached, Lara Croft. The original Tomb Raider sold over seven million copies and is still heralded as an absolute classic and one of the best action adventure games ever. Tomb Raider defined the PlayStation and changed the way that people played games.

In tribute to this and to celebrate and commemorate the continuing development of the Tomb Raider franchise and its central character, Crystal Dynamics are developing a new Tomb Raider adventure for Lara. Inspired by the original Tomb Raider video game; Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary faithfully preserves the elements which made the original Tomb Raider game such a classic.
