Suunto Core Green Light Advanced Outdoor Sports Watch Review

Futurelooks :: Thursday, August 28, 2008
In the past, Suunto had a reputation of making watches that were somewhat big and clunky so it was nice to see that they’ve made an effort to make their watches a bit more stylish. However, the signature style of the watches did get them cast into popular Science Fiction shows like Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis where they would regularly take trips back and forth through stable wormholes.

Zotac Nitro Preview
Technic 3d :: Wednesday, August 27, 2008
“The Zotac Nitro arrived Technic3D. The Nitro is based on a VFD display and is connected to the computer via a USB port. The actual benefit of this device however is the fact, that users can change the shader and memory clock of their (Zotac) graphics card by simply pressing some buttons – even while playing a game or using any other application causing a need to the performance of the graphics card increase (or decrease it again later on). Once you reached settings out of the card’s limits you can reset it to its defaults with another button. We have check this with a Presample from the Nitro and a Zotac 9800GTX in the Preview.”

TomTom One GPS Review
Think Computers :: Monday, August 25, 2008
“One piece of technology that has really made it into the hands of most consumers is the GPS. Some people really rely on GPS units and for constant drivers they are a valuable tool. I really have never used a GPS before so this will be a first for me. Today I will be looking at the TomTom One GPS unit, which features a 3.5-inch touchscreen, 1GB internal memory, built-in Bluetooth, and preloaded maps of the US and Canada. Geeks.com was nice enough to send the TomTom One over.”

Today we are going to look at the TomTom GO 930 which is one of the latest badboys from TomTom. With a pricetag of 500$ this unit better perform extremely well so lets take a look.

BEAR4 BlackBox 24/7
Bios Review :: Sunday, August 17, 2008
“GEAR4 is Apple’s biggest fanboy. Seriously. All the company does is produce accessories to pimp your iPod or iPhone. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that of course, and I’m hoping the company’s experience will have produced a winner with this new box of delights. The BlackBox 24/7 is the newest addition to GEAR4’s BlackBox range of audio accessories. What’s cool about the iPod dock is that not only does it looks amazing, but it doubles as a stereo speaker system and alarmclock radio.”

Yes, I know. You’re still out there enjoying the sun at the beach, maybe tossing the Frisbee around or playing a little volleyball. Unfortunately, it won’t be long before you’re sitting behind a desk again, listening to some talking head yammer on about socioeconomic stratification or the mating habits of ring-tailed lemurs. As you get ready to go back to school, Futurelooks is here to help you find the technology that will make the experience a little easier, a little more comfortable, and maybe even a little more stylish too.

BlueAnt Supertooth 3 Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit Review
i4u :: Friday, August 15, 2008
“Today I am back with another BlueAnt review — this time of the Supertooth 3 hands free kit. This device is made for hands free use, attaches to the visor of your car, and can be used at your desk.

Pairing the Supertooth 3 to my iPhone was a snap. As soon as you turn on the Supertooth 3 by pressing the green manual call answer button for one second, the device walks you through the pairing process. It even tells you the pairing code so you don’t have to dig through the owner’s manual. The device can pair to two phones at the same time and can store pairing information for up to eight devices.”

Prestigio GeoVision 350 GPS navigation device
Inside HW :: Tuesday, August 12, 2008
“Prestigio GeoVision 350 belongs to low-cost GPS navigation devices (we could say that it is cheapest) but its exterior doesn’t give that impression. Casing and windshield cradle are nicely done without rough edges. They doesn’t look cheap and don’t give impression of low quality product. We don’t have any complaints neither on functionality neither on mobility of windshield cradle. In package we found 12V charger (with adapter for car cigarette lighter), USB cable, external (additional) GPS antenna and manual…”
