I’m listening to some Bad Religion as this latest news blast is written, and I think it’s rather fitting, seeing as it’s supposed to be the end of the world and all. Not only was it a bad religion that came up with the Mayan calendar (instead of basing it on the clockwork of the heavens, they based it on the joints of the body where evil was thought to enter), but the modern Bible-apocalypse-seekers that re-purposed an ancient culture as some sort of relevant significance in today’s age.
It is pretty cool that the Sun has aligned itself between the Earth and the center of our galaxy (which only happens once every 26,000 years) though.
Here’s today’s tech news. It’s a little light, but it seems that tech sites have to have Christmas, too.
